Benefit Dinner a Success

The Benefit Dinner for Nicole went very smoothly. I was a little nervous about it all day. I kept thinking, "This could go great, or this could be a disaster". Fortunately, it turned out perfectly. We packed the place in, and just about everything sold at the silent auction. Some of the items had quite the bidding war going on too. When people come together for a good cause, only good can come out of it. We ended up raising over $2,100 for Nicole and her family. And since we had the majority of the food donated, we had extremely minimal costs. It was so great to see Nicole and meet her husband and her adorable little girl.

Nicole is certainly an inspiration! She looks great, but beyond that, her attitude is so positive and sincere. She is such a strong woman. Her beauty is in the way she conducts herself (don't get me wrong, she is a beautiful woman, too). She lit up the room with her presence and we were blessed to be able to host this dinner for her.

The co-hosts with Nicole:
Lauren, Nicole, Amanda, & I

Cupcakes donated by Happy Cakes.

Center pieces donated by Fluers de Jeanne.

We had over 30 silent auction items donated!!

Food was made by friends, and donated by Angie's & Chick-Fil-A.

Four of us at the dinner were pregnant. We all graduated high school together. In order we are due in August (Natalie), June (Jen), June (Amanda), and May (Me).
